Why test rather than guess?
A visual home inspection cannot establish a home's radon level. EPA guidance recommends radon testing when buying or selling a home. Nearby properties are not a substitute for testing your own property.

Request radon testing ↗A visual home inspection cannot establish a home's radon level. EPA guidance recommends radon testing when buying or selling a home. Nearby properties are not a substitute for testing your own property.
Tell Chris your inspection deadline, how the lowest level is used, and whether there are previous radon results or a mitigation system. Confirm the device, test duration, placement, access and expected reporting schedule before booking; do not assume results will be available during a single inspection visit.
Ask for the test-specific building conditions and occupant instructions before testing begins. Keep equipment undisturbed and follow those instructions for the full measurement period. Testing and mitigation are different services; discuss any follow-up with a qualified provider.
