Start with the question you need answered, then decide whether sampling is useful.
NW Property Inspection offers mold sampling as a separate service or alongside a full home inspection. Talk with Chris Nobbs about your property, access and timing.

Is sampling the right next step?
Tell Chris about visible growth, odors, leaks and past water damage before selecting a service. EPA says sampling is usually unnecessary when mold growth is already visible. There are no federal limits for mold or mold spores, so sampling cannot establish compliance with a federal mold standard.
What is in the published service?
The starting scope includes three air samples: one outdoor control and two indoor samples, with lab analysis. Discuss room selection and the purpose of sampling before booking. Additional samples start at $75 each. Confirm access, preparation and the expected lab reporting schedule with Chris.
What a sample does not promise
Do not treat a limited sample set as a whole-building guarantee or a medical diagnosis. This service is sampling with lab analysis, not a promise of remediation or clearance certification. Address moisture concerns and discuss any additional investigation or specialist work separately.
